Half day excursion

FROM APRIL TO OCTOBER (during the other months organized excursions, also on request)
Meeting: C.da Salamina headquarters of the association.
The excursion starts with the meeting at the headquarters of the Association “L’Aia che raglia” in C.da Salamina.
In the path the excursion winds along the old sheep-tracks of districts and admiring the beauty of the expanses of secular olive trees, Mediterranean scrub and large oaks.
In these immense expanses of uncontaminated nature and landscapes, among colours, smells and sounds, it will be possible to collect and have a hint of what are the wild and spontaneous herbs (fennel, rosemary, oregano, chicory, chamomile, etc…etc.) used since ancient times to cure seasonal ailments, to cook typical local dishes, or for the preparation of distillates and rosolios at the end of a meal.

The excursion of about 3 hours costs 15 € per adult and 10 € for children (5 -10 years old).

Please note that the minimum number to take part in the excursion is 10 participants, and that in case of rain or bad weather it will be postponed to another date or combined with an excursion of the same type.
